Misa Amane from Death Note... lmao. That's like, everyone's first cosplay.

Kajonkacon 2008.

★ When and where was the last time you cosplayed?
Uhhmm... a few days ago, I was screwing around as Denny in my house.

Beyond Birthday, hands down. Because I get to gnaw on a fake arm and crawl around... and talk in my creepy voice. He's like... a mass murderer, and I'm like... a hippie. So it's fun getting to portray him. And I looooved making my costume. <3

★ Who do you REALLY wanna cosplay as?
Tamaki Suoh (OHSHC), Schrodinger (Hellsing), Yuki Nagato (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya), Soubi Agatsuma (LOVELESS), Aayame Sohma (Fruits Basket), Momiji Sohma (Fruits Basket), and, um, NOT PUDDING FROM TOKYO MEW MEW. D:<

A lot of them. XD

★ Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?
YESSS! Me and Sarah went to the fair dressed like L and Misa once! And then we picked up Bridget and we went to a gas station... and she was Raito in a dress... good times. 8D

★ Have people in public ever recognized you and asked for photos?
YES. AT THE FAIR, OMG. XD

★ Have you ever made your own cosplay outfit?
Yussss. My BB cosplay is hand-painted. c:

★ When and where did you first learn of cosplay?
In the first grade, my friend Kelly and I wanted to cosplay Sailor Moon, lolwut?
But... umm... a couple of years ago, my brother got into Naruto and liked looking at cosplay pictures, and I was like, "THOSE PEOPLE ARE NERDS. D<"... but then :iconhepcatnesmith: introduced me to Fruits Basket... and Death Note... and I just thought it'd be fun.

★ What did you think of it then?
I THOUGHT IT WAS RETARDED.
And now look at meeee!

★ What do you think of it now?
It's like, my favourite thing to do. : P

★ Where do you usually cosplay?
....we walk around my neighbourhood, most of the time. XD

YESSSSS. At KAC08, we took part in the Everyone Beats the Crap Out Of Chouji skit... and won a bottle of hand soap! : 'D

★ Do you plan your cosplay outfits waaay before you’re meant to wear them?
Yes.
Hell, we're casting soooo many different animes right now it's not even funny... and nothing is ever going to get accomplished. : P

I have made so many friends through cosplay, and idfk where I would be without them. Cosplay has really and truly shaped who I am today, as ridonkulous as that sounds.

★ What is the worst thing about cosplay?
It COSTS SO MUUUUUCH.

★ Why do you cosplay?
I love me some anime, and making the costumes can me so much fun. It's a great way to meet friends, too! Yaayyy!
